The prop is named after legendary rescuer Thomas Kenney of the Hyannis Fire Department in Massachusetts and MATF1. Tom was larger than life! A true brother and mentor who dedicated his life to making the firefighters around him better. After 36 years of a storied career in the fire service, Tom passed away from 9\/11 cancer. I had the opportunity to teach with Tom and his passion for rescue work and metal cutting were passed along to me.
